Hi
Firstly, I appreciate the innovation & work you have put into your range of products. Well done.
However, I’m not entirely happy with the Snare Stomp. It sounds more like a “drum stick on the rim” rather than a snare (to me anyway).
Then there is the moving around on the floor issue. I played a gig last night and my Wild Dog stomp kick drum sounding pedal didn’t move an inch, whereas I had to gaffer tape the Snare to the hardwood floor.
I’m thinking about using the wooden foot rest/puck holder as a template to make a more solid wood unit with different rubber feet.
I do like the fact that the unit is passive - no batteries to worry about. And I do like the way that the Wild Dog is also passive. It makes for an easy set up.
Anyway, that’s my 2 cents worth. I’ll keep using the Snare Pedal for a bit, but may revert back to using a foot tambourine & SM57 mic.
Cheers
Hi Dr Martin, yes the snare is not a drum sample, and it's not really a snare drum sound.. more like a snare on a cajon I suppose or maybe a shaker maracas. anyway its intended to fill the same frequency range and offer a alternating beat to the bass sound. and for this it works well!
slipping on the floor, yes this can be a problem with the lighter units.. as the heavier stomp boxes stay more put.. but are less convenient when traveling.. Let me know how you go, there maybe solutions I have here that you may not have seen..

I bought a mega bass stompbox. to use when practicing with a small group of musicians, instead taking a bass drum to practice just used stomp and snare so easy, Fits in the car easily as well.Great product recomend to anyone.
