I bought my GRIT’s over a year ago! They are the best snare and rack tom mics I’ve ever used live. Totally noninvasive with very little space needed to place them around the drum kit. They sound good in the stone basement jazz clubs of the Sydney CBD and they sound equally good at large outdoor festivals.
I’ve had a few choice idiots and honest mistake makers strike them with sticks and even after one was shattered by a choice idiot at a punk gig it worked after a few nips of solder and some careful glueing.
I love mine.
