Why has it taken so long to perfect this model stomp box with bass sound? Well, that would be a disrespectful question from a long-time user of Peter's products. A loyal customer, yet never offered feedback. Peter, I am sorry. Thank you to the musos who offered feedback to Peter, and congratulations to you, Peter, for listening to the musos and continuing to refine and produce this stomp box. It's your best model yet. I play percussion in a Uke band and have always used Peter's bass sound stomp box. Using a kick pedal and bass unit did not suit the presentation for the Uke band performance. The predecessors to this model were reliably functional, though they still had irritants for the standing percussionist. Voila, irritants removed.
