Shipping to YOU!

Australia:
As I am in Australia this is local shipping. If the item is in stock it will get to you within a few days of shipping. At present, I ship every Friday for orders received by Wednesday. Cost of shipping depends on the weight, but is usually around AUD$15 for most items.

NZ:
Shipping to NZ is not causing any problems at the moment. If the item is in stock it usually takes about a week and cost around AUD$20. You will need to check out todays exchange rate to convert this amount to New Zealand currency.

USA:
At the moment shipping to the USA is not causing any problems. Most parcels with a value under AUD$500 can be shipped straight to your door without any interference from Customs. If the item is in stock, shipping takes between 2 weeks for express and 5-6 weeks for regular post. Cost is usually around AUD$35. You will need to check out todays exchange rate to convert this amount to US dollar.

UK:
Although Australia and the UK have a trade agreement, Shipping to the UK has become increasingly challenging due to changing customs regulations. There is no DUTY to be paid but there is VAT, and this should be charged by the post office. When the parcel arrives you should be notified of the delivery and the amount of VAT to pay when you pick up the parcel.... There are still some issues with this process, and sometimes you will not be notified and the parcel is returned to me. I am working on solving this problem.

To address this issue, I have found that DHL is doing a commendable job by charging you the VAT and forwarding it to the VAT department. Although their charge for shipping and handling is expensive, it's cheaper than flying to Australia, picking up the item and paying import duty when you get home. Costs for shipping can be over AUD$90 and VAT charges can be over 20% of sale price plus some fees. If the item is in stock shipping time is around 2 weeks.

EU:
Shipping to the EU, like the UK, has become increasingly challenging due to changing customs regulations. Many parcels are simply returned to the sender.

If your country is outside the above mentioned countries, you may need to check with your local customs department to see if they will charge taxes and duty on lower amount items.
