The Peterman Dual External acoustic instrument pickup can be tuned to your instrument's sweet spot.
Featuring a built-in passive volume control, along with two piezo crystals to pick up both the bass and treble frequencies, the Peterman Dual External with Attenuator acoustic guitar pickup can be tuned to your guitar's sweet spot frequencies.
Designed for both nylon and steel-string guitars, cellos, outs, banjos etc., the Peterman Dual External with Attenuator acoustic guitar pickup also works great on bowed string instruments such as violins, cellos. The pickup is high impedance and will work without tone sacrifice right down to 80Kohm.
The Peterman Dual External with Attenuator acoustic guitar pickup ships with an endpin strap, suction cup, and a supply of reusable putty, allowing easy fitting and transfer to any instrument. It is also compatible with most other guitar pickups.

I play in a church band. I was given a J-45 with no electronics. I put this dual with volume on it and plugged it in. The house was able to adjust the tones through the monitor board. It sounds great! I did end up with some issues with the 1/4" socket, but Peter responded quickly and sent a replacement! Great device, great service!
Have used this pickup on my Santoor (Indian Hammer Dulcimer)It has worked really well in a wide variety of situations from solo in small spaces through to playing with a loud band on big stages. Having both bass and treble pickups as well as a volume control has given me the range of options to play dynamically and get the sound I want.
